I believe workshops are taking place between 3-8pm Saturday. Any idea of what the time slotting would look like? I'll be leaving early Thursday for the venue. It would be great if we could get a schedule put together before then so I can make some signs and post them at workshop locations. Any word on pyrotechnique's involvement? So far it looks like Machi - breathing session Carli & Carolyn - stretching warm up Julie - Yoga session Carli (or Pyrotechnique?) - Hoop class  ? - poi or staff class? Robyo & Abe - drum circle Leo - Harm Reduction forum Endo - string art? have supply logistics been worked out? How much time do people need? Usually broken up in 1/2 hour workshops . . . Is anyone else wanting to participate? |

I could *help* with a poi class. I will have my little one with who will keep me busy all weekend. I do not have poi materials of my own to share but i have 5+ years of experience spinning.

Will the second stage have any shelter? If it rains, it will suck to do yoga or stretching in the mud.

We will be able to shelter the second stage. It's gonna be a dome and we have tarps... tbd as to how we're gonna set it all up.

At this point I believe there will not be individual flyers . . . I am making posters to put up at the workshop locations. I can put a disclaimer that workshops will be B.Y.O. ~ hoops, matts, supplies, etc. As for shelter . . . I do not know what will be secured to the dome for weather protection. Is anyone bringing any rugs for inside? I could pick up a few 3'x4' $10 rugs before I head out of town? |

We were planning on having some of the headliners run some music workshops. I dunno if Scott has talked to any of them, but I'm sure we could find stuff to talk about the whole time the workshops are going.
Somethin like this:
1-2 - Chill production? w/ aligning minds
2-3 - Basic DJing? With? CD's and Traktor? W/ who?
3-4 - VJING?
4-5 - Basslines, getting a song started w/ Ooze
5-5:45 - Playing a LIVE PA w/ Unwashed Tomato
5:45 - Prayer
6:30-7:15 - Advanced DJ w/ Aktif, Machi, and Paradigm? Xcience? About mixing in key, etc
7:15-8:00 - Advanced Production questions w/ Electrypnose

Small group sessions later.
I hope Aktif and others will head up a dj workshop like last time. Maybe 1-2 hours long..
All workshops will be shut down at 5:50 till 6:30 for the prayer for peace.

I am gonna talk with liz & pyrotechnique & hoopers to see if they can spare some hoops to practice with for the session.
