A lifetime of living in the northwoods has taught me this weekend has awesome fall color and it's either completely beautiful or cold and rainy.

My first post here... I've been to 3 Chilluminati parties at NCN in Black River Falls and had some of the best times of my life there. The 3 that I went to were... -The first 'Sacred Earth Open Air' party a couple years ago, it was a 4-day 3-night party over Memorial Day weekend. Fucking Epic!!! -The first 'Crystal Sky Full Moon' party, same year as first 'Sacred Earth' 2-night party in October, around the same time this party is gong to be. It was a small but beautiful party. I woke up on Sunday morning to the most BEAUTIFUL weather and autumn leaves ever! I will never forget it. -This years 'Sacred Earth Open Air' party. Awesome party, I had so much fun! I was planning on going to this party too but unfortunatly I won't be able to make it. It's the same weekend that Sound Tribe Sector Nine is doing a show in Milwuakee, and I'll be there instead.

Main stage is gonna be indoors at this event. There will be a fire in the fire pit where it was at Earthdance last year. Warm clothes and dancing are surefire ways to stay warm too (as is 151).

I don't know if you were already planning this, but idea if you're keeping the mainstage outdoors: fires near the dancefloor are nice, but a big fire in the middle of the dancefloor is even better. It might seem a little iffy safety-wise, but it really isn't a big deal. If you have some people who know what they are doing and can watch it and keep it raging most of the night, everyone can dance around it and it keeps the whole dancefloor warm. They do this in the desert with accelerator fires in Cali and it works really well. Kinda makes a nice homey, comforting atmosphere that takes the edge off of everything being super dark and cold. OOOOO, I LOVE this idea! I'd be happy to provide my XLR8shun skillz for much of the time if there is room for a sizable fire near the stage, and if firewood is provided by the community. We'd probably have just coals during the day (to conserve wood), but at night we could rock out and XLR8 into the pyrosphere! A fire in the middle of the dance floor??? I don't think that would be safe at all!
