PSY-PLAYA-RIFFIC!It was great to see so many people from different communities all over the country come together in the same place. A fantastic setting to sit down and talk with friends both old and new. Damon, thanks for having me out to play (my third three hour set in as many weeks, whew!) and for being the wonderful person you are. Huge thanks go out to Minimonk (of course!) for allowing everyone to use his space. It was a shame we couldn't turn up the outdoor system any louder than it was. (especially for Androcell / Distant System... I'm sure he was a bit disappointed by the bass output) Alas, that's the price one pays for having a rooftop gathering with music, fire performance, etc with a Chicago skyline backdrop. All in all, a fantastic way to send off a friend to the next chapter in his life. Damon, you will be missed all across the US. I hope to cross paths with you in Europe some day I'd love to see some photos if anyone's got any!

thank you so much to everyone that was even a part of this... i feel so cleansed from being in that atmosphere, surrounded by positive energy, wonderful people & GREAT MUSIC. damon and ola, i don't even need to say i'll miss you both & i wish i would have gotten involved in this community earlier on so that i could have had the priveledge of knowing you longer.
p.s. airyck, now i see what all the hype is about! what a morning set!
love and light... Leo

Congrats to Damon and Ola! I will miss you two. Make sure you come back and visit as often as you can! The party was awesome: good peoples, great sounds, sweet venue. Rexroat system totally rocked it. Props to the DJ who spun oldskool vinyl downtempo while the drum circle was killing it. Special thanks to Radiohiro for sharing his awesome pad with us.

yes this party was top-notch. it was my pleasure to bring the sound system to you all.
I wish that I didn't have such a full weekend so I could have been more involved with things, but I am glad to have been a part as much as could have been, all things considered.
Damon, thank you very much for everything! I know I'll miss you very much.

Fucking wicked time. Best time I've had drinking myself relatively silly in a while. It was fun hanging out with everyone. Honestly the vibe here was great, I had a great time on the roof, such wonderful weather too! The music was top-notch, and Phil, when I was resting on the couch during your set, I was appreciating how the bass shook the couch so much it made my back feel better. Rob and Julee, thanks so much for letting ben and I come and hang out for a bit, it was a blast hanging you you two and Jeff and Deb as well. Damon thanks for the awesome time, you'll be greatly missed. Parties won't be the same without your presence. Come back and visit, and be be sure to grace us with your presence here on the board

really impressed: by the venue, organization, attendees, music (Androcell, Scatter and of course - Airyck: I believed the other stuff was awesome too I just got there kinda late and I was more focused on socializing with people). Totally cool time, doesn't get any better. Big props to brother DAMON AND THE CREW! now Damon, considering the number of friends who made to that party: are you really sure you want to leave? (don't have to answer this one I guess )

This was a great time. It felt good to be at a party where I was there to just socialize and relax. I really liked the music going on both stages a lot. If anyone knows some of the tracks/artists that were being played during any of the breaks/breakbeat sets, please let me know, I wanna get my hand on some of that. Whoever played the jungle set really showed how overloaded we were on sound . Damon- Thank you so much for the party. You are such a great, relaxed person to be around. I am glad to have known you, for however short a time it was. We had some great journies and I am especially glad that we got to travel to Gemini together and party at Gaian Mind. I wish you and Ola the best and hope to see you again soon!

It's a shame to be losing two wonderful people from our scene who just up and throw a free party to celebrate their wedding/going away party. It was awesome that you guy's did that! I was telling someone at the party that I've liked every single friend of your's that you have introduced me to over the years. You surround yourself with good people and that speaks volumes about your character.
Thanks for everything Damonski!

This was a great party. Lots of very open, level-headed people and great vibes all around. Thanks for everything Damon; like so many others have said, you will be missed (Varun too!). Big thanks to Matt and Shai for the use of the pad.

Was an incredible time, thanks to Damon and Ola for such a wonderful event celebrating the love they have for each other and the love everyone has for them! Big thanks to Minimonk for letting us hang out forever afterwards Was great seeing people I had not seen for awhile and loved the mix of burners, trancers, and pols! Everyone played great, was more into being social thank dancing but was fun

Just back from Chi-town after chilling with Damon, Ola and Varun for a week. What good people and what an excellent party. Had fun in a non-psy party after a long long time. Twas my first big-city real party and it was fun just watching the different crowd and soaking up the vibes. Colorful, happy, weird and everything under the sun. Didnt catch much music other then Scatter and Airyck on main set (yeah...yeah...yeah....I am a hypocrite who listens to only psy) but loved whatever I heard. Janaka Selekta was particularly fun. Chilled most of the night listening to Androcell/Distant System, talking to new and old friends and enjoying the vibes in general. Great fucking house for the party. The audio production setup of Matt aka Radiohiro was off the hook. Maybe someday, I will have something like that The most fun part of the evening was when Airyck came in the morning to lay it down. Psy-trancers and burners alike got down to it. The room was packed with so much energy that I could do nothing but smile and dance. What a way to send off Damon and Ola. All in all, a fulfilling week. Regardless of all the MOM's joke - you will be greatly missed Damon!
