This thread will serve as a place for anyone to chime in if they can volunteer for Earthdance this year.

It will be gradually more organized as it fills up.

Thanks!

I don't think people really get going until 2PM so maybe start around 1-2 and go to 7. How does that sound?

I'll volunteer my equipment for the main stage (2 cdj 800s and a djm 600).  I'll take any slots for working the front gate.

Please make a gate schedule beforehand this time too.  Although I didn't mind working the gate for like 5 hours at Sacred Earth, it just woulda been nice to know who is supposed to be working when.

I would like to do a workshop about going green/reducing your carbon footprint.  Basically something with a bunch of environmental stuff (scientifically based) and what we can do to help save the planet (with a realistic point of view).  Maybe some objective opinions about global warming too.  I'll have a better idea in a few weeks after I compile some stuff and let you know Jeff.

Also, working the door is fun, especially when people leave beer in the fridge Smiley

of course you can count on me and Alex to take a shift at the door, if anything, we can just take a walk around the campground at the end to pick up all the trash, beer cans and cigarette butts like we did after SEOA.

If no one else steps up I'd like to lead a stretching / yoga session.

I'm not certified, but I have experience. I know I always do personal stretches before / after dancing all night. I think it's important and helps A LOT with any sore muscles and joints.

Also, I'm planning on trying my skills out with tapestry painting soon. Would it be possible for me to set up one night and do some painting?

As far as art workshops, I'm not sure how many people would be interested, but I have experience with macreme weaving (like the hemp necklaces everyone wears). I could do a workshop about how to make hemp jewelry and the different types of knots and designs.

we can join the efforts and teach both at the same time as it's very important to breath properly when stretching, will you agree?
